Connect your store to Omni so your team can share products in chat and see a customer's orders next to the conversation. Your automations can react to orders and abandoned carts, and your chatbot can answer "Where is my order?" with real information.

Where: E-commerce (/app/ecommerce)

Supported platforms

Platform How you connect
Shopify Click connect, enter your store domain, and approve the app in Shopify
BigCommerce Click connect and approve the app in BigCommerce
WooCommerce Approve the connection in your WordPress admin, or paste REST API keys

Connecting a store

Where: E-commerce → Stores (/app/ecommerce/stores)

  1. Click Add store and choose your platform.
  2. Follow the connection steps:
    • Shopify: enter your yourstore.myshopify.com domain and approve the app.
    • BigCommerce: approve the app in your BigCommerce control panel.
    • WooCommerce: approve the access request on your site. Alternatively, create a key in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API with Read/Write permission, then enter your store URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
  3. Click Test to check the connection.
  4. Click Sync to import your products and orders.

When the store is connected, Omni registers webhooks with it, so new and updated orders keep flowing in automatically. Click Sync at any time to fetch everything again.

Products

Where: E-commerce → Products (/app/ecommerce/products)

Browse and search the products from your stores. In the inbox, use Share product to send an item straight into a conversation.

Orders

Where: E-commerce → Orders (/app/ecommerce/orders)

See orders from every connected store. Open an order to view its details, refresh its status from the store, or mark it fulfilled.

What the connection unlocks

  • Order history on the contact: agents see a customer's orders in the inbox's contact panel.
  • Order-aware chatbot: an AI chatbot can look up real order status.
  • Store automations: start automations when an order is placed, fulfilled or cancelled, when a new customer is created, or when a cart is abandoned. For example, send a WhatsApp reminder with a discount code an hour after a cart is left behind.

Cart reminders on WhatsApp are business-initiated messages, so they must use an approved template and should only go to customers who agreed to receive them, for example through a checkbox at checkout.
